Choose from a range of Arts subjects for a degree with multifaceted perspectives. You’ll examine areas central to contemporary society, including tradition, culture, theology, law, politics, communication, human-environment relations, and human behavior.
You’ll graduate with an honours degree in Politics togrether with one of the following Geography, History, Law, Theology and Religious Studies.
Politics: You’ll study areas as diverse as counter-terrorism, the European Union, international organisations, international political economy, the Middle and development.
Geography: You’ll examine human activity, human-environment relations and physical environments at a variety of scales, from the local through to the global.
History: You’ll explore how human beings behave grounded on a close examination of how they have behaved in the past in all spheres of the world but with a particular emphasis on Ireland.
Law: You’ll learn about constitutional and criminal law, about property and European law and the law of evidence.
Theology and Religious Studies: You’ll critically engage with the big questions about life in order to understand the historical and contemporary significance of religious faith and contemporary ethical dilemmas.
